The patron of San Costantino Calabro is Saint Constantine the Bishop, celebrated today on 21 May with religious celebrations only; until a few years ago the feast was fixed on 12 April and was preceded, on the 10th, by a livestock fair later abolished for health reasons.
The Sagra da Pitta Chjina is devoted to one of the town's food specialities, a bread pitta filled with tomato sauce, tuna, anchovies, peppers and olives, once prepared by housewives as a complete and abundant meal: today it is one of the most awaited sagre of the Vibo area and draws over six thousand people every year. The most deeply felt religious feast is instead that of Saint Roch, on the Sunday after 15 August, with the «calata» of the statue, the traditional «’ncanti» (a public auction of products offered by the faithful) and the dance of the «camejhu di focu».
