On 21 and 22 August Villalago celebrates the patronal feast of San Domenico. The saint is patron of both Villalago and Cocullo: in Cocullo two relics are kept, a molar and a horseshoe from his mule, while another molar is kept in the main church of Villalago.
The municipality holds the Eremo di San Domenico, the Chiesa della Madonna Addolorata, the Chiesa della Madonna di Loreto and part of the Parco nazionale d'Abruzzo, Lazio e Molise.
