The patron of Longobardi is Saint Nicholas of Longobardi, who bears the town's name, celebrated on 3 February.
The town overlooks Monte Cocuzzo and holds the Church of Santa Domenica, the Torre Santi XL and the Cozzo Tosto, as well as an experimental broom (ginestra) cultivation.
