The patron of San Polo d'Enza is Saint Paul of Tarsus, celebrated on 25 January, the feast of the saint's conversion.
Within the town walls, an annual historical re-enactment, «Dopo Matilde», is held, along with a thriving weekly market where local craft and food products are sold, including Parmigiano-Reggiano, Lambrusco and erbazzone. The town also holds the Castello di San Polo d'Enza and the Church of San Giovanni Battista.
