The patron saint of Pasian di Prato is Saint James, celebrated on 25 July in the Church of San Giacomo Apostolo.
The meadows of Santa Caterina hosted an important fair and saw its great growth until 1405, when practical reasons led to it being moved inside the walls of the city of Udine; from then on the market was held in the provincial capital, in today's Piazza Primo Maggio, still home to one of the traditional feasts most loved by the Friulians. The town also holds the Madonna dei Roveri and the Prati del Lavia Biotope.
