In Castelleone di Suasa the titular saint is Saint Peter of Verona, celebrated on 29 April; Saint Francis of Paola is co-patron. The town has the Chiesa di San Pietro martire and the Chiesa San Francesco di Paola.
In spring the Festa del Perdono takes place, the most important religious event of the year, followed by the Fair on the following Monday; on the first weekend of September the Festa della Cipolla (Onion Festival) returns, with itinerant shows and food stands serving onion-based recipes, the onion having been so important to the local economy that the people of Castelleone were known as «cipollari».
