The patron of Frisa is Saint Pantaleon (San Pantaleone), celebrated on 27 July; the municipality holds the Chiesa di San Pantaleone.
The Santuario Madonna del Popolo was built in two years: on Whit Monday 1666 the first procession of the miraculous Madonna del Popolo took place and, according to an inscription, the sanctuary was completed and opened for worship in 1669. The municipality also holds the Chiesa di San Filippo Neri and the Fonte di Frisa.
