The patron of Morino is the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrated on 8 September. Among the places of the municipality are the Eremo di Santa Maria del Cauto, the Riserva naturale guidata Zompo lo Schioppo, the Parco Naturale Regionale dei Monti Simbruini and Monte Ferrero.
The village calendar includes, in spring, the charcoal-burners' festival (festa della carbonaia) at Grancia; in summer, cultural initiatives to bring back to life the uninhabited hamlet of Morino Vecchio and the shepherding festival (festa della pastorizia) at Rendinara; in October, the chestnut festival (sagra della castagna Roscetta).
