The patron of Badolato is Saint Andrew Avellino, celebrated on 10 November.
On Good Friday, the traditional procession sets out from the Church of San Domenico, led by a men's choir singing a cappella: the participants, dressed in white robes and black cloaks, follow the statue of Christ on the funeral bier for several kilometres, reaching the Franciscan convent of Santa Maria degli Angeli. The town overlooks the Serre Regional Nature Park and holds the Church of the Immacolata.
