The patron saint of Acri is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March. The town's co-patron is Saint Angelo of Acri, a Capuchin friar born in the town, celebrated on 30 October.
The town holds the Capuchin Convent and the Civic Tower, known as the Rocca dei Bruzii. Among the town's places of interest is also the MACA, the Silvio Vigliaturo Civic Museum of Contemporary Art.
