The patron saint of Roggiano Gravina is Saint Francis of Paola, whose wooden statue is kept in the old Church of Sant'Antonio.
On 1, 2 and 3 December each year, Roggiano recalls the terrible days of an earthquake and renews its devotion to its patron saint: this, with its religious and civic rites, is the feast most deeply felt by the community. The town also holds the Shrine of the Madonna della Strada and the Roman Villa of Larderia.
