The patron of Filadelfia is Saint Barbara, celebrated on 4 December in the Church of Santa Barbara.
On the occasion of the feast of Saint Francis of Paola, on the first Sunday of August, the camel dance event is held, accompanied by the sound of drums. On the Tuesday after Carnival, instead, the «carnivaletto» is held, a secular feast in which the death of the character Carnivalari is enacted with a fixed script. The town also holds the Memoriale della Vittoria and the Church of the Carmine.
