The patron of Calabritto is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March with bonfires lit in the town's districts, blending the religious moment with a more secular one.
On 17 January, for the Feast of Saint Anthony the Abbot, the residents knock from house to house asking for gifts to the sound of bells, in the traditional scampanellata. On the last Sunday of June, after an overnight pilgrimage of more than three hours on foot, pilgrims reach the Shrine of the Madonna di Grienzi, at about 1,000 metres of altitude. The town holds the Rocca di Quaglietta and the Church of Santa Maria di Costantinopoli.
