The patrons of Lauro are Saint Roch and Saint Sebastian, celebrated on 25 August.
It was on this very day, in 1872, that the Castello Lancellotti was inaugurated, appearing as it does today after the rebuilding commissioned by Prince Filippo Lancellotti, in a composite architectural style. The town also holds the Hermitage of San Michele and the Roman Villa, as well as the Torre Savaio.
