The patron of Cusano Mutri is Saint Nicholas of Bari, celebrated on 6 December.
Even today, early in the morning of 3 August, a traditional barefoot procession is held, linked to the Church of Santa Croce al Monte Calvario. The town also holds the Castello marchesale and the Porta di Mezzo, as well as the Church of Santi Apostoli Pietro e Paolo.
