The patron saint of Cicciano is Saint Barbatus of Benevento, celebrated on 19 February.
In the past, the town also held ancient local feasts and traditions, born from customs specific to the Castle and celebrated by the whole community: every 1 January, two important ceremonies took place, an exchange of gifts with representatives of the city of Nola and the hamlets of Cimitile, San Paolo and Saviano, and the festa del ceppo, when the Baiulo handed a large log to the Commendatore. The town holds the Church of the Immacolata Concezione and the Church of San Giacomo.
