Sant'Egidio del Monte Albino has three patrons: Saint Nicholas of Bari, whose liturgical feast falls on 6 December, Saint Giles the Abbot, after whom the town is named, and Saint Mary Magdalene, venerated at the Abbazia di Santa Maria Maddalena in Armillis.
On the third Sunday of September, the churchyard of Santa Maria delle Grazie hosts the Medieval-Renaissance Festival «I Cortili della Storia»: a costumed historical procession re-enacts the election of the town's ancient magistrate, with a parade of participants through the streets and a salute to the representative of the Governor of the City of Nocera.
