The patron of Modigliana is Saint Stephen, celebrated on 2 August in the Cathedral of Santo Stefano.
Since 2021, the Festival dei Sentieri Agrourbani has been held, dedicated to enhancing the territory through hikes, cultural activities, music, art and food-and-wine initiatives. Among the food-and-wine events is also Sangiovese in Festa, an annual gathering dedicated to Sangiovese wine with the participation of local wineries. The town also holds the Rocca dei Conti Guidi.
