The patron of Soragna, the Addolorata, is celebrated on the third weekend of September, when the town centre hosts the patronal feast with markets, concerts and open-air lunches.
In the square in front of the Rocca Meli Lupi, the Giostra dei Nasi was held for years, between 1966 and 1985 and then between 1998 and 2007, a tournament held in a medieval atmosphere. The town's other patron, Saint James, is instead celebrated on 25 July.
