The patron saints of Carpaneto Piacentino are Saint Firmus and Saint Rusticus, celebrated on 9 August in the Church of Santi Fermo e Rustico.
The last Sunday of April brings the age-old Spring Fair, born in 1676 by will of Duke Ranuccio II Farnese: inside the castle it is paired with the GUT Gutturnio Festival, organised with the DOC Colli Piacentini Wine Consortium to promote local food and wine. On the first Sunday of September, the Carpaneto tourist association, founded in 1936 and the first of its kind in the province, organises the Coppa Festival, dedicated to the famous DOP cured meat. The town also holds the Castle of Carpaneto and the Castle of Ciriano.
