The patron of Lugagnano Val d'Arda is Saint Zeno, celebrated on 9 December in the Church of San Zenone.
Since the 1950s the local Pro Loco has organized the Fiera fredda, initially known as the chestnut and luganega sausage fair: it is held on the last weekend of October and is the most important autumn fair in the Val d'Arda, with stalls and food stands. The town also holds the Antiquarium of Velleia and the Torre di Montezago.
