Sacile celebrates Saint Nicholas on 6 December; the town also hosts what is considered Europe's oldest fair, with a distinctive bird-call imitation contest, and in 2021 was the starting point of a stage of the Giro d'Italia.

The patron saint of Sacile is Saint Nicholas, celebrated on 6 December.

The town hosts what is considered the oldest fair in Europe, also held in a reduced form in spring: a distinctive feature is the bird-call contest, in which competitors imitate birdsong. Between June and August, a music showcase is also organised, while the local film festival is held jointly with another town. On 24 May 2021, Sacile was the starting point for the sixteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia. The town also holds the Duomo and the church of San Lorenzo Martire.
