The patron of Moricone is the Assumption of Mary, celebrated on 22 August with the patronal feast.
The first Sunday of July brings the Feast of Blessed Bernard, with religious celebrations, recreational moments and the popular Bernardiadi games. On 8 September, for the Madonna del Passo, the statue is carried in procession from the shrine outside town to the church. The town holds the Museo dell'Olivo (olive museum) and the Chiesa Vecchia di Moricone, and overlooks Monte Matano.
