The patron of Capodimonte is Saint Sebastian, celebrated on 20 January; since the saint is venerated as patron of municipal police, on that day a large group of municipal police officers gathers in the town to lay a wreath for the fallen and to attend an inter-provincial study day for local police forces.
The town's protector is Saint Roch, celebrated on 16 August with fireworks over the lake on the late evening of the eve; on 17 January, for Saint Anthony the Abbot, animals are blessed and a bonfire is lit with bruschetta seasoned with oil from the latest pressing.
