One of the patrons of Marta is Saint Blaise, celebrated on 3 February in the Collegiate Church dedicated to Santi Marta e Biagio.

The town overlooks Lake Bolsena, with its fishermen's quarter and La Cava beach, and holds the Shrine of the Madonna del Monte. The town's other patron, Saint Martha, is celebrated on 29 July.
