Saint Sylvester, patron of the land of the street painters

The patron saint of Curtatone is Saint Sylvester, celebrated on 31 December.

In the square of the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine delle Grazie, during the Fiera delle Grazie, the town's most important cultural event is held: the National Street Painters' Meeting, where madonnari street artists compete. The town also holds the Street Painters' Museum, the Palazzo del Diavolo and the Palazzo Zanetti-Cavalcabò.
