The patron saints of Pomponesco are Santa Felicita and the seven martyrs, celebrated on the second Sunday of July; the village holds the Chiesa dei Santi Sette Fratelli Martiri.
The Fiera di Santa Felicita usually falls around the second weekend of July, with fairground rides and a fireworks display. Every year in the winter period, usually between 11 and 12 November, the traditional Festa del Ringraziamento (Thanksgiving Festival) is celebrated, with the Thanksgiving Mass, the parade of farm vehicles and the ancient game of the Albero della Cuccagna (greasy pole). The municipality also holds the Castello di Pomponesco, the Riserva naturale Garzaia di Pomponesco and the Sinagoga di Pomponesco.
