The patron saint of Falconara Marittima is Our Lady of the Rosary, celebrated on 8 May.
The historian Cesare Lardoni, in his «Istoria di Falconara», sets the founding date of the Rocca Priora castle at 550. The church of Sant'Antonio, attached to the Franciscan convent built in 1932, holds works by the painter Arturo Cicchi, a pupil of Friar Paolo Mussini, including the stained-glass windows and the apse decoration; next to the church stands the Franciscan and Piceno Library, founded by Father Candido Mariotti, which houses thousands of volumes, some of them ancient and particularly rare.
