The Madonna Nostra and Saint Vitus the Martyr, patrons of the land of the Mother Church
📅 Every year, on 8 December for the Madonna Nostra; co-patron Saint Vitus the Martyr on the 2nd Sunday of August
Carmiano celebrates the Madonna Nostra on 8 December and the co-patron Saint Vitus the Martyr on the second Sunday of August. It is a common mistake to identify the «Madonna Nostra» with the Assumption, since the celebrations take place close to Ferragosto and the Mother Church is dedicated to her.
