Ugento celebrates Saint Vincent of Saragossa on 22 January, with the patronal feast and fair; the saint is also patron of the entire Diocese of Ugento-Santa Maria di Leuca. The feast of the Holy Physicians Cosmas and Damian is also deeply felt, with light displays and a procession from the sanctuary dedicated to them.

The patron saint of Ugento is Saint Vincent of Saragossa, celebrated on 22 January with the patronal feast and fair; the saint is also patron of the entire Diocese of Ugento-Santa Maria di Leuca.

Also deeply felt is the feast of the Holy Physicians Cosmas and Damian, with light displays and the procession of the Holy Physicians, who leave the Sanctuary of Santi Cosma e Damiano dedicated to them. A procession in honour of Saint Joseph the Worker is also held. The town holds the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the Castello di Ugento, as well as the Sanctuary of the Madonna della Luce.
