The patron saint of Sant'Antioco is Saint Antiochus, celebrated on the fifteenth day after Easter with the annual feast dedicated to him, also called «Sa Festa Manna»: the statue of the martyr saint is carried in procession along the seafront.
During the Aragonese and Spanish period, between the 16th and 17th centuries, this was the only occasion when thousands of people returned to the otherwise depopulated island. The town also holds the Nuraghe S'Ega Marteddu and the nuragic village of Corongiu Murvonis.
