The patron of Paglieta is Saint Justus, celebrated on 14 July.
Saint Vincent and Saint Giles used to be celebrated on the first Sunday after Easter, but the feast was moved to 25 April by order of the then Archbishop Metropolitan Edoardo Menichelli of the Chieti-Vasto diocese, since celebrating saints on the Sunday in Albis is discouraged. The town also holds the Church of San Canziano and the Torino di Sangro Holm Oak Forest Regional Nature Reserve.
