The religious observances in Palmoli include the patronal feast of Saint Valentine, celebrated on 14 February.
In July, on the 16th, 26th and 27th, the Madonna del Carmine is celebrated: on the first day the statue of the Virgin is carried in procession from the convent to the parish church, the second is dedicated to Saints Joachim and Anne, and on the morning of the third men and women in traditional costume carry, in the «parade of the granoppoli and pacchianelle», the gifts offered to the Madonna, which are auctioned in the afternoon in the town square.
