The patron of Salle is Blessed Roberto da Salle, celebrated on 18 July; his remains are kept in a side altar of the church. The parade of the palmenteri is traditional, common to many neighbouring villages such as Caramanico Terme: the townspeople bring gifts to the patron, from sweets and local products hung on branches to whole cartloads of timber, and the proceeds of the sale go towards the festivities.
The Museo delle Corde Armoniche is dedicated to the craft production of harmonic strings, for which Salle has a long tradition. The municipality also holds the Castello di Salle and the Chiesa del Santissimo Salvatore.
