The patron of Nova Siri is Saint Joseph, celebrated on 19 March.
The rite that marks the spring, though, is that of the Madonna della Sulla: the image of the Virgin is carried in solemn procession from the sanctuary to the town's mother church, and stays there until the return, which takes place on the second Sunday of May. In the hamlet, instead, Saint Anthony of Padua, its own patron, is celebrated on the weekend after 13 June.
