The patron of Amendolara is Saint Vincent Ferrer, celebrated on 5 April.
The town's festivities begin as early as the third week of the year, when on the third Sunday the celebrations for Saint Anthony the Abbot take place: in the morning, in front of the chapel built in his honor, an auction of donated gifts is organized. The town holds the Castello di Amendolara and the Vincenzo Laviola State Archaeological Museum, as well as the Torre Spaccata.
