The patron of Cerisano is Saint Lawrence, celebrated on 10 August in the Church of San Lorenzo Martire.
In late August and early September, the Festival delle Serre is held, now in its 27th edition, with sections dedicated to cinema, jazz, theatre, classical music, visual arts and cultural gatherings. The town, a member of the Associazione dei Borghi Autentici d'Italia, holds the Castellaccio, dating to the 6th century, and the Castello di Malaugello.
