The patron saint of Montalto Uffugo is the Madonna della Serra, celebrated on 12 February.
In the hamlet of Parantoro, in the first days of May, thousands of pilgrims gather, setting out from Piazza De Gasperi and crossing the coastal range on foot in a pilgrimage that leads them to the convent of Saint Francis of Paola. At the top of the peak stands a statue of the saint, venerated every 1 May by these walking faithful. The peaks overlooking the territory are part of the protected area of the Mountain Community Nature Park. The town also holds the church of San Francesco di Paola and that of the Santissima Trinità.
