The patron of San Benedetto Ullano is Saint Benedict the Abbot, celebrated on 21 March, to whom the Chiesa di San Benedetto Abate is dedicated.
Among the town's traditions, on Palm Sunday morning processions commemorate the resurrection of Lazarus, singing the «Kalimere»; of the ancient Holy Week rites the procession of the «Açiomeri» on Holy Thursday and Good Friday remains; and on the first Sunday of May the feast of the Mother of Good Counsel is held, whose cult is linked to the exodus of the Albanians to Calabria.
