Patron saint festival In 94 days
Saint Sebastian, patron with the Calvary procession and the Naca
📅 Every year, on 20 January; the second Friday of March the Calvary procession
Petilia Policastro celebrates Saint Sebastian, the town's protector saint, on 20 January. Every second Friday of March, in honour of the Spina, a pilgrimage to the sanctuary follows the Calvary procession, a costumed portrayal of the Way of the Cross; on Good Friday, instead, the Naca procession parades, with the Dead Christ and the Sorrowful Mother.
