The patron of Laureana di Borrello is Saint Gregory Thaumaturgus, celebrated on 17 November.
Among the town's religious traditions, the most important and best known in the area is the feast of Saint Roch, in the hamlet of Stelletanone, which draws hundreds of pilgrims every year from across Calabria, eastern Sicily and northern Italy. In the hamlet of Bellantone, Mary Most Holy Annunciated is also celebrated on 25 March, and Saint Paschal Baylon on 17 May. The town's other patron, Mary Most Holy of Mount Carmel, is celebrated on 16 July.
