The patrons of Stefanaconi are Saint Nicholas the Bishop and Our Lady of the Assumption, celebrated together on 6 December in the Church of San Nicola.
On 17 August comes the Sagra del Pane (bread festival), which reached its twenty-seventh edition in 2019. The area also has a modest production of cow's, sheep's and goat's milk, mostly used for fresh cheeses. The town holds Villa Elena.
