The patrons of Ospedaletto d'Alpinolo are the holy apostles Philip and James, celebrated on 3 May, to whom the Chiesa dei Santi Filippo e Giacomo is dedicated; co-patron is Saint Roch, in whose honour the most important religious feast is held on 18 and 19 August, preceded by a novena.
From 8 to 12 September the «Juta a Montevergine» takes place, in which sacred and profane intertwine: the religious rites culminate on 12 September with the traditional «Festone rà Maronna» and the procession of the Madonna del Carmine, while the folk rites include tammurriate, tarantellas and allegorical floats; in the night between 11 and 12 September there is also the pilgrimage on foot from Ospedaletto to Montevergine.
