The patron of Buccino is Mary Most Holy Immaculate, celebrated with solemn festivities from Thursday to Monday of the first week of July.
Thursday opens the festivities with the procession of the «mantle», which travels from the mother church to the Shrine of Maria SS. Immacolata, where the saint is venerated. On Friday the Virgin is dressed and enthroned, while on Saturday evening the procession of the spire and the midnight singing of the Ave Maria announce Sunday, when the morning procession is held through the streets of the town. The town also holds the Volcei Urban Archaeological Park and the Norman-Angevin Castle.
