The patron of Laviano is Saint Paschal, celebrated on 17 May.
At carnival the theatrical representation of the months of the year takes place, a play of ancient origins in which masked characters take part, followed by a parade of allegorical floats; the municipality also holds the Chiesa Madre Santa Maria Assunta, the Chiesa di Santa Maria della Libera, the Castello di Laviano and the Monti Eremita - Marzano nature reserve.
