The patron of Pisciotta is Saint Sophia, celebrated on 30 September; the village also venerates Saint Vitus, on 15 June, and Saint Agnello the Abbot.
The municipal territory preserves the Cenotaph of Palinurus, linked to the legendary helmsman of Aeneas who, according to tradition, gave his name to this stretch of the Cilento coast.
