The patron saints of Sasso Marconi are Saints Peter and Paul, celebrated on 29 June.
On 8 September and the connected weekend, for over three centuries, the hamlet of Pontecchio has hosted the Antica Fiera di Pontecchio, also known as the «Fira di Sdaz»: a village fair with shows, farming tradition, local produce, animals and music. Between late October and early November, the Tartufesta, a fine white truffle festival, is held. The town holds the Church of San Lorenzo and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine del Sasso, as well as Villa Griffone.
