The patron saints of Castelvetro di Modena are Saints Senesius and Theopompus, celebrated on 21 May in the Church of Santi Senesio e Teopompo.
Every year in September, the Grape and Lambrusco Grasparossa Festival of Castelvetro di Modena is held, with winemakers displaying their products in the town's main square. Every two years, in June, the Mercurdo is instead held, the feast of the absurd, with shows and museums open on the theme. The town also holds the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Salute and the Castle of Levizzano Rangone.
