The patron saint of Noceto is Saint Martin, celebrated on 11 November in the Church of San Martino.
The town is linked to the birth of Italy's Grandparents' Day: from 2002-2003, the town council, and in particular mayor Fabio Fecci, worked hard to have the figure of grandparents officially celebrated. It was thanks to his proposal, later accepted in parliament, that the feast's date, originally set at 26 July in the draft law, was moved to 2 October: the first edition was celebrated on 2 October 2005. The town also holds the Castello di Costamezzana and the Rocca dei Sanvitale.
