The patron saint of Massa Lombarda is Saint Paul, celebrated on 25 January in the Parish of the Conversion of Saint Paul.
At the start of September, since 1976, the Festa della Ripresa is held, lasting a full week and culminating on the last day, Sunday, in the Palio del Timone: a team competition reserved for Massa Lombarda's four districts, while the pullers may also come from nearby towns. The town also holds the Museum of Fruit Growing and the Sanctuary of the Beata Vergine della Consolazione.
